William (Billy) Lake, 71, of Galloway Township, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2025. Born in Atlantic City, he started his teen years clamming and as he got older he worked for Interiors by Anthony, hanging drapery’s in casino’s, restaurants, and homes.
He later married his wife, Deborah Higbee and moved to Florida, where he worked building boats for Sea Ray and on the side he started a seafood company, B&D seafood. He eventually returned to New Jersey where he lived out the rest of his life.
Billy was a hardworking, loyal, and good-hearted man whose steady presence and sense of humor touched everyone around him. He loved his family deeply, and that love was returned to him ten fold. His family will forever cherish the memories they shared with him, and he will be missed more than words can express.
