Obituary For William James Boyer, III

Boyer, William, James III, 67, passed away April 3, 2024. Born in Atlantic City, NJ, he grew up in Atlantic City and lived in Atlantic City, specifically Arizona Avenue, before moving to Galloway years ago. He was a finish mechanic for Viking Yachts and then Egg Harbor Yachts for many years before returning to Commercial Crabbing full time. In his free time, he enjoyed working on boats, building crab pots, gardening, checking in on his son and daughters, playing and keeping up with his grandchildren, but what he enjoyed above all else was sipping coffee with his wife, Eileen, while watching hummingbirds.

Bill is predeceased by his father and mother, William J. Boyer II and Anna Mae (Nancy) Boyer; uncle, Charles P. Boyer; and brother-in-law, John Mehic. He is survived by wife, Eileen (Sharar) Boyer; son, William (Jennifer) Boyer IV; his daughter, Rebecca (Richard) Romanelli; daughter, Jamie Lynn Boyer; daughter, Rachael Mae Boyer; granddaughter, Sydney Romanelli; grandson, Joshua Romanelli; granddaughter, Sabrina Boyer; grandson, William J. Boyer V; brother-in-law, Bill Delesantro; brother-in-law, Clarence "Fritz" Sharar; sister, Patty Mehic; sister, Janice (Ron) Snowman; and many other nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 5:00PM to 6:30PM at Parsels Funeral Home located at 324 New Jersey Avenue, 08201. A service will immediately follow from 6:30PM to 7:00PM. There will be a gathering of family and friends afterwards to be announced following the services. Online condolences may be placed at www.parselsfh.com.

We Offer the Book of Memories™

Parsels Funeral Home offers what we consider to be the finest example of online memorials, the Book of Memories™. Created by an award-winning team of web developers and designers while being led by a funeral professional with over 25 years of experience, this online memorial is intended to provide your family with a permanent place to pay tribute to your loved one.

Far more than a traditional obituary—which is usually published only once and has no interactivity at all—the Book of Memories™ Memorial Website is a fully interactive archive of treasured photographs and stories remembered from their time spent with friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers.

You’ll be able to invite others to visit the online memorial, where they can upload images, share stories, write heart-felt messages of condolence, send a floral tribute to the funeral, or make a charitable donation in memory of your loved one. And the built-in social media integration means they can then “spread the word” about their addition to your loved one’s Book of Memories™ using Facebook and Twitter.

We offer the families we serve a Book of Memories™ memorial website with the intention that it gives you a measure of solace and comfort during the coming months. To arrange for a Book of Memories® memorial website for your loved one, contact us today.
