Victor Powell

Vic Powell, musician, of Galloway, born June 24, 1925 and passed away April 5, 2013. Vic gave his life to music. A dedicates saxophone player who was respected and admired by many musicians for his unique style of playing. He was an inspiration to all who knew him and his humble personality along with his kind spirit will be remembered always. Vic was so happy to be a part of the ‘Big Band Era’. He was fortunate to have traveled with many of the popular bands.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Lou; daughter, Jackie (Ray) Worrick; grandchildren, Ashle and Raymond Worrick.
