Suzanne (Suzie) Gertrude Roman

Suzanne Gertrude Roman (nee Reed), (Suzie Roman), September 21, 1948 – April 2, 2026, 77, of Absecon, New Jersey, passed away on April 2, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was raised in the Pitney Village in Atlantic City, a place that always remained close to her heart and helped shape the vibrant woman so many knew and loved. Suzie was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, leaving behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and cherished memories.

Suzie’s greatest joy in life was her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She could always be found in the stands, proudly cheering them on at sporting events, school performances, and any occasion that allowed her to celebrate their accomplishments. Her presence was constant, her encouragement unwavering, and her love immeasurable.

While Suzie loved to travel, she also found deep happiness in the simple pleasures of life—sun-filled days spent on the beach and local concerts that brought her joy. Suzie treasured her siblings and her close-knit circle of girlfriends, sharing countless memories filled with laughter, support, and friendship. She especially enjoyed watching games alongside the “Eaglettes,” turning every game day into a spirited and joyful gathering.

Known for her fiercely loyal and loving nature, Suzie touched the lives of everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit will live on in the memories she created and the love she shared so freely. Whoop-Whoop!!

Suzie was predeceased by her parents, Theodore and Dorothy Reed; her son, Eric Roman; and her granddaughter, Ryan Roman. Suzie is survived by her son, Charles Paul Roman IV (Terra), and her daughter, Danielle Voss (Patrick). She is also survived by her cherished siblings, Dorothy Hassall (William), Veronica Patch (Jack), and Theodore Reed; she was the proud “Mom-Mom” to her 5 grandchildren, Eric, Gavin, Tess, Patrick, and Lilly, who brought endless pride and joy to her life; she also leaves a host of nieces and nephews, family, and friends who were her family.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00-2:00 PM on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Avenue, Absecon, NJ, with a tribute to Suzie at 1:30 PM. Online condolences may be placed at www.parselsfh.com.
