It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Shelby Lyn Amidon Funk, on July 1, 2026, at the age of 45, following complications from a heart infection.

Shelby was born on July 31, 1980, in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and was raised in Galloway Township. She attended both Montclair State University and licensed esthetician. Shelby will be remembered for her beautiful spirit and the love she shared with those closest to her. She leaves behind her devoted parents, Harry J. Amidon and Donna M. Amidon; her loving sister, Dana M. Amidon Achey, and brother-in-law, Grant W. Achey; her cherished nephews, Arlo G. Achey and Gavin D. Achey; her cousin, Kyle W. Nikitich, who was like a brother to her, and his daughter, Josephine Nikitich. She is also survived by her husband, Eric Funk

Though Shelby is no longer by our side, her memory, love, and spirit will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
