Russell P. Vought

Russell P. Vought, 66, of Absecon, NJ, passed away March 7, 2025. He was born May 12, 1958 in Atlantic City. He grew up in Somers Point before moving to Galloway where was an amazing pastry chef for Smithville Inn, before retiring in 2000. He was also a volunteer firefighter for the Somers Point Volunteer Fire Company Station 2, for 19 years. In his free time, he loved to go to the beach and watch the waves with his family, listening to his favorite music and cracking jokes. He was well known for his famous cheesecakes and gingerbread houses. Russell is predeceased by his mother, Madline VanSant and his father Allen Vought.
