Robert J. Fahy

Robert “Bob” J. Fahy (aka Robert J. Scola), 83, a lifelong South Jersey resident and proud United States Army veteran, died peacefully on September 3, 2026.

Born July 2, 1943, in Bend, Oregon, Bob was the son of the late Robert J. Fahy and Ethel M. Livingston Fahy Scola. He grew up in Absecon and served in the United States Army from 1965 to 1969. He later worked for ACME Markets for more than 40 years, including as a general manager.

Bob was an avid collector of model cars and remained proud of his military service throughout his life.

He was predeceased by his parents; his sister, Andrea Scola Colligan; brother-in-law, Glenn Barton; niece, Lily Trush; and nephew, Isaac Trush.

He is survived by his siblings, Don (Kathy) Fahy, Joanne Barton, Andrew (Stephanie) Scola and April (Glen) Trush; his brother-in-law, Patrick Colligan; along with several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Visitation will be 9AM to 11AM on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. A service will follow at 11AM.
