Richard Carl Walker

Richard Carl Walker, aged 89, of Bridgeton, NJ, passed away 11/19/2025. He was born and raised in Atlantic City, NJ. He retired to St Pete Beach, FL before moving back to South Jersey to help with his grandchildren. Some of his fondest memories included, lifeguarding in Atlantic City, golfing, bowling(including winning a South Jersey Championship), AC youth football, playing cards, and dancing. He was also an avid Philadelphia sports fan, when he wasn’t cheering on his children’s and grandchildren’s sports teams. While this obituary provides only a glimpse into his life's stories, the memory of Richard's adventures will be cherished by all who knew him.

Richard is survived by his brother, George Walker (Patricia);daughters, Leigh Ann Finley (Matthew) and Kay Bessette; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, George C Walker and Helen M (Foley); children, Richard Scott Walker and Laurie Kay Sprouse; grandson, Adam Hild, and great grandson, Luke Bonitatibus.
