Michael J. Fitzpatrick

Michael J. Fitzpatrick, age 74, of Egg Harbor Township, passed away on Saturday August 9, 2025. Michael was born in Drexel Hill, PA and grew up in both Drexel Hill and Willingboro, NJ before moving to Hainesport, NJ then Egg Harbor Township, NJ.

Michael was a gentle soul with a strong devotion to his Catholic faith. He was a long-time parishioner of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Willingboro, NJ and Queen of Peace in Hainesport, NJ. Not a day went by in his final years without attending televised Mass. He also had a passion for music and was known to have the most expansive 45 rpm record collection around in his younger days. His gentle smile, friendly nature and willingness to do anything you asked of him along with his tolerance for all the struggles he faced in life will be remembered forever by his family and friends.

Michael is predeceased by his parents, Rosalie Elizabeth Fitzpatrick (nee Payne) and Patrick Joseph Fitzpatrick; and his beloved sister and brother Patricia and Joseph Fitzpatrick. He is survived by his devoted siblings, Sharon Fitzpatrick of Sea Isle City, NJ; Brian (Mary Ellen) Fitzpatrick of Absecon, NJ and Kevin (Lorraine) Fitzpatrick of Florence, NJ. He is also survived by his niece, Megan Fitzpatrick; nephews, Ryan (Jaclyn), Matthew (Anna) and Daniel (Emily) Fitzpatrick; and three great-nieces and two great-nephews, Keira, Riley, Jack, Oberon and Emma Fitzpatrick.

A gathering will be August 20, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 4308 Landis Ave. in Sea Isle City NJ. With visitation from 10AM to11AM and funeral Mass to follow at 11AM. Interment will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Michael’s name to St Joseph Catholic Church/Parish Life Center, 4308 Landis Ave., Sea Isle City NJ. 08243.
