Mercedes Renee Logan, 55, passed away on April 1, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend whose kindness and selflessness touched everyone who knew her.
Mercedes is survived by her loving husband, Bill Logan; her four children, Falyn Logan, Michael Logan (Autumn), CJ Oliver (Samantha) and Jesse Logan (Maria); and her cherished grandchildren, Chase, Vayda, Gunner, Jordan, Riley, Everleigh, Joshua, Jameson, Aria, Declan, and Dalton. She is also survived by her mother, Mercedes Monroe-Bayona; and her sister, Consuelo Baca. She was preceded in death by her father, Rene D. Monroe; her brother, Percy Monroe; and her sister, Patricia R. Monroe.
Mercedes found her greatest joy in spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and her beloved animals. She had a passion for gardening and took pride in cooking meals that brought her family together. Some of the most treasured memories shared by her loved ones are of her dancing in the kitchen with her grandchildren, filling the home with laughter and warmth.
Known for her generous spirit, Mercedes was the epitome of selflessness. She had an enormous heart and was always willing to help anyone in need, often putting others before herself without hesitation. Her close friends were like sisters to her, and she cherished those lifelong bonds deeply.
Mercedes will be remembered for her compassion, her strength, and the unconditional love she gave so freely. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, family, and love that will continue to live on in all who knew her.
A gathering will be 10AM to 12PM on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. A service will follow at 12PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mercedes’ memory to the Humane Society of Atlantic County, a cause close to her heart. 🐾💛
