Mark E. Corey

Mark E. Corey, 58, of Egg Harbor Township, NJ, passed away Wednesday September 2, 2026. Born in Philadelphia, PA. In 1968 he moved with his family to South Jersey, with a love of boating, the ocean, and over the years found community in firearms and riding motorcycles. (I know pretty bad a**.).

He is preceded in death by his parents, Betty Corey and Dale Corey; as well as his brother, Richard. He is survived by his wife, Krista; as well as his two children, Mark and Alexis; daughter-in-law, Tara; and his sister, Linda Corey Lindsay; along with nieces and nephew; Jennifer, Melissa, Jessica, Christina, James and Autumn; as well as a long list of great nieces and nephews that he loved very much. Last but not least his granddaughter, Ella Lane, who is his spitting image with her fiery red hair and blue eyes.

Also (lovingly) known as “The Hammer" in his community of friends, was someone you could always turn to and would lend a helping hand to anyone who came his way, especially through “his office.” There will be no public ceremony as the family wants to keep things small and private but we ask everyone who knows him to raise a glass in his honor.
