Maria Baretto

Maria A. Baretto, 77, of Absecon, passed away on August 19, 2017 surrounded by her family. Born in Cortenova Valsassina, Italy, she lived in Absecon for 38 years. She loved taking care of her family and cats. She worked as a bookkeeper for 30 years with Gasbarro Law Firm. She is survived by her husband Luigi Baretto, former executive chef of the Ram's Head Inn, son Dr. Luigi Baretto (Dr. Marissa Magid) of Absecon, two sisters Rita Vanotti and Rosalba Thorn of Dumfries, VA, and her nephew Gustavo Thorn (Sara Thorn) of Alexandria, VA. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 591 New Jersey Avenue in Absecon.
