James H. Marcheski

James H. Marcheski, Sr., 82, of Galloway, passed away November 13, 2025. Born in Pleasantville, he has been a long-time resident of Galloway Township. Mr. Marcheski was a carpenter before working for the Press of Atlantic City for 45 years prior to his retirement in 2005. He continued doing carpentry throughout his life working on projects at home and for family. He is a veteran of the US Navy, serving during the Cuban Missile Crisis before being honorably discharged.

Mr. Marcheski is predeceased by his wife, Judith; his brothers and sister, Tony, John, Mary and Eleanor. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Cindy Marcheski; his daughter, Kim Cassel; his sisters, Rita Kurtz and Rosemary Jones (Ted); his grandchildren, Cristina Kime (Mike), Madelyn Marcheski, James Marcheski and Matthew Cassel; his great-grandchildren, Connor , McKenzie, Chase and Jaidan.
