James ‘Jim’ B. Fogle, 46, of Absecon, died Saturday, September 24, 2011. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, he has lived in Absecon for 13 years. He has worked in security for several casinos and also worked in several positions for the Irish Pub in Atlantic City. He was a member of the Absecon Fire Department and previously, the Richland Volunteer Fire Company, Richland, NJ. He was also a member of the Southern Counties Amateur Radio Association, Galloway Twp. Elks Lodge, #2845, Atlantic Masonic Lodge, #221, Absecon, he volunteered for the ARC of Atlantic County and was a founding member of the Atlantic County Historical Re-enactors, 7th New Jersey Company D. He was also a member of the Ocean County Windjammers Drum and Bugle Corp and very proud to be a member of the world champion Garfield Cadets Drum and Bugle Corp. He was founder of the Atlantic Hurricanes Drum and Bugle Corp. He also served as a lieutenant with the Pleasantville Volunteer Ambulance Corp. He was an avid Civil War buff and a huge Giants and Mets Fan.
He is survived by his devoted wife Lynette ‘Lynn’ (Lacey); his daughter, Kristina Fogle of Nesco; his son, Jeremy Lacey of Absecon; his brother, Al Fogle of Georgia; his sister, Dorothy Fogle Rose of Florida; his granddaughter, Rebecca Lacey; and his best friend, Tom Southard; also his extended family, Kevin Wood, John Psota, Christine Psota, Nicole Botson (The Pink Turtle), Nachele Botson, Shawn Kenny, Connie Ang, as well as numerous, devoted aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.
A Memorial Service will be conducted Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 207 Northfield Ave., Northfield.
