Frank Perkins

Frank W. Perkins, 85, formerly of Meriden, Ct., died Monday, June 25, 2012 at his daughter’s home, with his family by his side. Born in Castine, ME, he lived in Meriden, Connecticut where he was a business and driver education teacher for 30 years at Orville H. Platt High School. He was a very community oriented man, spending time with groups and clubs to make his community a better place. He enjoyed gardening and was a UCONN Huskies and Boston Red Sox fan.

He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is predeceased by his wife, Irene E. (nee Rideout) Perkins. He is survived by his children, Kim Perkins, Jeff Perkins and Julie (nee Perkins) Lee and her husband Gerald Lee; and his grandchildren, Gerry and Christina Lee.
