Elizabeth Cifuni

Elizabeth Cifuni, 88, of Galloway, died Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at her home. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she lived in Ventnor for almost 40 years before moving to Galloway 2 years ago. Among Mrs. Cifuni’s favorite hobbies was cooking, crocheting. She is also famously known for her Christmas cookies. She especially enjoyed the time she spent with her family and grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents, Camillo and Lucia Tenaglia; her sisters and brother, Concetta Iocco, Mary Campagna, Emma Sperandeo and Joseph Tenaglia; and her dear niece, Rita Campitelli. She is survived by her husband, Nicholas Cifuni; her children, Diane (Jerry) Carasick, Linda (Robert) Hodson, David (Lucille) Cifuni and Michael (Diane) Cifuni; her grandchildren, Gabriel, Michelle, Christopher, Elizabeth, Jonathan, Karen, Christine, Nicholas, Sherin and Alexis; and her great-grandchildren, Alissa, Hunter, Jaida, Russel, Kaylee, Riley, Steven, Tyler, Marco, Scott and Juliet.

Visitation will be 9:30AM to 10:45AM Monday, September 26, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 591 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. A funeral mass will be offered at 11AM.
