Elizabeth Carroll

Elizabeth (Cindy) Carroll, A (nee Meserole), 79 passed away on February 2, 2026. She was born February 13, 1946, in Pleasantville, NJ. She grew up in Levittown PA and spent summers with her family in Atlantic City. Cindy returned to New Jersey as an adult and resided with her children in Northfield, NJ, before moving to Brigantine NJ and residing there with her husband, Raymond, for over 30 years. She was an Assistant Property Manager in Ocean City, NJ before retiring in 2006 to care for her younger grandchildren. Prior to her time as an Assistant Property Manager, Cindy was a Cashiering Manager at Harrah’s Atlantic City for 20 years.

In her free time, she enjoyed reading, spending time with her grandchildren and children. She loved music and writing short stories. She also enjoyed her time with her two best friends of more than 50 years, Martha Conover and Carol McAviney.

Our mother was madly in love with her husband, Raymond (aka funny face), and adored her furry cat kids, Jezebel and Sophie and her hairy granddog, Emmett.

Cindy is predeceased by her husband, Raymond H. Carroll; her parents, Charles Meserole Sr. and Evelyn Meserole (Breen); her brother, Charles Meserole Jr.; and her granddaughter, Maria Whisenhunt. She is survived by her brothers, Edward and Joseph Meserole; her children, Lisa Wyman, Anthony Tullio (Tracy), Kimberly Steinen (Jay), Charles Koons Jr. (Michelle) and Timothy Koons; her grandchildren, Noel Wontroba (Chuck), Matthew Whisenhunt (Amy), Jacob Wyman (Brittany), Zachary Wyman (Marly), Katherine Tullio, Anthony Tullio Jr, Charles Koons III, Evelyn Steinen, Samuel Steinen, Zoey Koons, Cody Koons, Samantha Steelman, Zoey Meserole; and her great grandchildren, Paige Wontroba, Zoey Wotroba (it goes without saying some people in our family really love the name Zoey), and Bjorn Wyman.

A memorial will be held for our mother on Sunday, February 15, 2026 from 2PM to 4PM at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon, NJ.
