Dorothy Sweeney Conover

Dorothy Sweeney Conover, of Absecon, passed away June 28, 2026. Dorothy was born in Atlantic City, a true South Jersey Girl. Dorothy is predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Raymond W. Conover, Jr. Ray and Dorothy lived a good life and raised their 3 children, Raymond Conover, III, Christine Conover Roche (Tim) and Dawn Conover Coyle in Absecon.

Dorothy was so kind, compassionate, generous and caring to her family, friends, neighbors and even strangers.

Dorothy had 6 Grandchildren, Hayley, Raymond IV, Emily, Kayla, Liam and Michael, who all have numerous wonderful memories of their ‘Mom Mom’. Her spirit will live on in them as well as in her 8 Great-Grandchildren.

To honor Dorothy, do something kind as her motto was, “You can never go wrong being kind!”

Family and friends are invited to Parsels Funeral Home,  324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon, for a viewing on July 3, 2026 from 10:00AM – 11:30AM and a celebration of her life starting at 11:30AM.
