Diane M. Peacock

Diane Marie Peacock, 65, of Absecon, passed away on September 6, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love, loyalty, generosity, and cherished memories. Born on November 12, 1960, in Atlantic City, Diane was the daughter of Ann Marie Johnston and John R. Peacock.

Diane worked as an IT Operations Analyst at Hard Rock Casino and was known by those closest to her as a loving, loyal, generous, and selfless woman. She had a big heart and a giving spirit, and her family and friends always knew they could count on her. She was the person who would stand beside you, have your back, and be there whenever she was needed.

Although Diane never had children of her own, she was a mother in every way that truly mattered. She helped raise and guide the children of her family and friends, loving them as her own. Always going above and beyond for her nephews and niece. She also devoted herself to helping care for her mother, Ann, and her brother Pat, whom were both waiting for her with open arms.

Diane loved taking cruises with her best friend, Joan and her goddaughter, Amanda. She also treasured the time she spent with her good friend, Joanne. The memories she made with the people she loved were among the things she held most dear.

Diane is survived by her siblings, Robert Peacock Jr. and his wife, Barbara, Michael Peacock and his wife, Anne, Lori Norton and her fiancé, Smit and BJ Dessicino and his wife, Shelly; and her niece and nephews, Michael Peacock, Shawn Peacock, Jonathan Peacock, Zach Kruger, Morgan Sweeney, Nicholas Norton, Matthew Norton, Cole Dessicino, Lucas Dessicino, Chase Dessicino, and Blake Dessicino.

She was predeceased by her father, John R. Peacock, her mother, Ann (Johnston) Peacock and her brother, Patrick Peacock.

Diane's kindness, loyalty, and unwavering love made her someone truly special and deeply cherished by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed, and the love she gave so freely will live on in the many lives she touched.
