Caroline M. Sawyer

Caroline M. Sawyer, 61, of Absecon, died Friday, September 30, 2011 at Atlanticare, Mainland Division. Born in Pleasantville, she grew up there, moving to Absecon 30 years ago. Caroline enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Rachael. She also was an animal lover, enjoying tending to and watching her fish. She was a member of the VFW Post # 9462 Ladies Auxiliary, Absecon.

She is predeceased by her husband, James Sawyer; and her daughters, Rachel and Della Kane. She is survived by her fiancé, Charles E. Koons, Sr.; her sons, Curtis P. Kane and Robert L. Kane; her sisters, Madge Mason, Ella Risso and Nellie Chatten; her brothers, Bill, George, Robert, and Tommy Lloyd; her fiance’s sons, Timothy D. Koons and Charles E. Koons, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Rachael Kane and Zoey Bradley.

A memorial service will be conducted 4PM Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. The family will receive friends and family from 3PM to 4PM.
