Allan E. ‘Mac’ McBride, 90, of Egg Harbor Twp., passed away March 4, 2026, surrounded by his family. Born in Lincoln, NE, he grew up in Wayne County, Iowa. He joined the US Navy and was honorably discharged in Atlantic City, NJ. After discharge, he lived in Northfield for 50 years before moving to Egg Harbor Twp, where he lived for 20 years. He began his career with Dee Lumber in Linwood before he transferred to Tri County Lumber in Egg Harbor City, where he retired in 2006 after a 50 year career. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan, always enjoying watching their games. In his free time. He enjoyed bowling and working in his yard.
He is predeceased by his parents, Howard E. and Ellen O. (Keller) McBride; his sister, Janet Abel; his companion of 38 years, Nancy Jelinski; his former wife, Carole Lou Baldwin; and his step-son, PJ Jelinski; He’s survived by his children, Allan E. McBride, Jr. (Erica), Timothy J. McBride (Denise), William H. McBride (Diane); his step-daughter, Tammy D. Egan (William); his sister, Dolores Beard; 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 10AM to 11AM on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. Military honors will follow at Germania Cemetery in Egg Harbor City.
