One of my favorite memories is Christmas Eve my dad would always make his mother's  spaghetti sauce.  It would take a day and a half. And of course all you could smell garlic and onion basil and all the stuff in a good spaghetti sauce so when Dad wasn't looking I would sneak in and cut a meatball in half and come time to eat you have a lot of half meatballs. I continued that same tradition and cook spaghetti sauce and have it with my family on Christmas Eve with my children and have made the same sauce for more than 40 years. And now my grown children are in there when I'm not looking cutting meatballs in half and putting extra on their plate. And of course I tell them no don't do that but inside I'm smiling because I did the same thing and I think of my dad. I love you dad. Kathleen
